It’s so culturally rich, and we love to see all of the ways that Memphis couples incorporate these things into their special days!

Aside from the culture incorporated into your special day at whatever venue you may choose, inner city Memphis weddings have the advantage of some of the most iconic landmarks in Tennessee! The Memphis bridge, Bass Pro Pyramid, and Mississippi River all scream “Memphis TN!!”, and we love being able to sneak these landmarks into any album/video that we can in the area. Not only are these things stunning, but they tell a whole story, so we’re down to sneak away anytime to get some iconic couple shots with you!
Flexibility of Locations
In Memphis, it’s so easy to find urban, riverfront, and rural locations all within 20 minutes of each other. This flexibility makes for such interesting albums and videos, as you can get a flower field, a Hilton hotel, Mud Island, and a historical manor all in the same story! We’re all for taking advantage of this flexibility to customize your day to be perfect for every major event for you. Along this same point, there are so many wonderful cities surrounding Memphis that may give you the perfect intimate backdrop for your wedding while not taking anyone too far from the city. Some that come to mind are Arlington, Covington, Millington, and Rossville.
Phenomenal Catering
Memphis catering is so good it needed a whole point to itself. There’s a reason Memphis BBQ is known throughout the country, and when you frequent as many weddings as we do, you come to appreciate where you’re getting not only tolerable but genuinely divine meals. I’m not exaggerating when I say that Memphis has some of the best catering we’ve ever tasted. Some of our favorites we probably don’t know by name, but you can never go wrong with Pink Flamingo Catering!

We graduated together in 2021 with a Bachelor’s in Digital Media Arts, got married, and started our business before we had a penny to put into it or even our own place to live. We’re always learning and growing in our craft and our relationships with everyone around us! ♡

If you’re like us and enjoy art, culture, and a good story, this venue delivers at every turn. Frankly, if we were to get remarried in Memphis TN, this would be our venue of choice. Memphis Botanic Garden
I mean, how can you go wrong with a good garden wedding? Aside from having a multitude of gorgeous natural displays throughout pretty much every season, this botanic garden offers flexibility with both inside and outside spaces to host the perfect event with back-up plans for weather 😉 If you love a splash of color, swoon over the perfect flower, or just can’t imagine having a wedding that isn’t surrounded by nature’s best, this might be the perfect fit for you!
Woodruff-Fontaine House Museum
Personally, I am a huge fan of a classy historical manor. The architecture, cozy vibes, and history of this museum offers the perfect backdrop for a sacred celebration. Every part of this venue is worth seeing and using. They offer inside and outside spaces, rain contingency plans, a gorgeous staircase for intimate moments, and so much more! I can’t say enough how gorgeous this place is, so if you love historic buildings, want to feel at home on your wedding day, and love a classy inside couple shot, check this place out!

This idea is probably the most Memphis option of all! If you’re getting married in Memphis because you just love the city, Mud Island is definitely the place for you! The multitude of parks in the area offer perfect outdoor options for a celebration, where you are sitting on the Mississippi itself. You can see the bridge and maybe even get it in your photos. You can have a barge serenade you after your “I Do” kiss (true story). You can turn around and see the bustling streets of Harbor Town. River Inn is a beautiful option for as much as you want it to be: an event space, reception space, or even just a beautiful place to stay before and after your event! If you love the urban look, dream of a waterfront wedding, or want everything about your day to scream “Memphis!”, there are several options to browse here on Mud Island.
Hilton Memphis
We had to throw in this hotel as a possibly overlooked option offering its own new vibe. Many people think of hotels as far as room blocks and traveling guests go, but how many people consider them as a place to actually host the event? I’m going to be honest. This never crossed my mind when we were planning our wedding before working in the industry. As it turns out, this hotel stole our hearts last October for a fantastic wedding celebration. Not only are the suites surprisingly welcoming for a getting ready space, the whole property offered everything you could ask for in a wedding. There’s a gorgeous fountain area outside, huge event halls for the celebration, and several perfect spots to stop for photo ops. If you’re after a modern look, feel spoiled at a high-end hotel, and just want lots of space for family and friends to enjoy the time all together, check this place out and book the entire weekend for a full Memphis vacation ♡

We truly could not have asked for a better wedding to bring us over to Virginia! It’s as though the whole state was showing off for this University of Richmond wedding. The weather was perfect, the venues were stunning, and we got to spend the day with the best of couples!
Katie and Heath’s Crenshaw’s wedding was one of the most unique fall weddings I had the pleasure of capturing in 2025. With a sunflower theme, a rustic barn reception, and a one-of-a-kind arbor (hand-built by Heath for his bride), the day overall felt like a sprinkle of summer sunshine on an autumn weekend.
It’s a little difficult as someone in the industry to put aside our personal interest in you hiring and explore the real pros and cons associated with hiring a videographer. The answer isn’t the same for every wedding.
